Microneedling

Skin Microneedling is a minimally-invasive procedure in which a device with very fine needles produces small channels in the skin.

Microneedling treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that works by using small needles (between 0.5 and 3.0 mm) to puncture areas of the skin and create controlled wounds. The body responds by filling the wounds with collagen and elastin, which are natural proteins that can effectively strengthen the skin and improve its apperance. Unlike other skin rejuvenation and repair methods, the microneedling system actually uses your body's own growth factors to smooth the skin. Because your body is producing its own collagen and elastin, no harsh chemicals are present, resulting in fewer side-effects.

Although some redness may occur immediately after the procedure, any irritation should subside the next day. The procedure can be used anywhere on the body. Treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks.

Microneedling is safe in all skin tones! It can treat:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Age spots
  • Stretch marks
  • Acne scarring
  • Enlarged pores
